So i'm just wondering all these technological advances and everyone instantly accessible 24 hrs a day, have we actually eliminated idle friendly chit chat with the nice guy standing behind us in line. It just seems to me that as we are so called "advancing" we are alienating ourselves to just our close group of friends and no longer have the desire to just talk to the people around us. Am I wrong?
So it was an interesting day, first thing in the morning the damn car battery dies, I call my significant other and his response......Ill call you back when I wake up. Seriously this cant really be my life. So onward with the day, i finally get the car started sent several nasty text msgs to make me feel better and then towards the afternoon an old boyfriend I haven't spoken to in ten years calls to say hi. Seriously....lol. My best friend falls flat on her face during a phone conversation, literally right off her feet leaving me hanging on the line wondering whether someone ran up on her and snatch her up and my neighbor across the street is standing in front of his house drunk screaming nonsense.....yes ladies and gentleman its been a long day.........lol
